When one is witnessed unconditionally, their Truest Self can flourish.
Modified and inspired by a poem from Danna Faulds - Poems from the Heart of Yoga, Go In and In, “Healing”
There is profound “healing” in the speaking of truth,
in the letting go of fear,
in being still long enough for the truth to land.
There is healing in looking the truth straight in the eye,
not shunning the unpleasant and distasteful.
It is the pretending, the facade,
which falsely offers to keep us comfortable.
It is the turning away which holds healing at bay.
This hiding and maneuvering away from “the truth of things” only feeds separation.
When we dare to be open to the uncertain,
when we extend ourselves in caring and courage,
this is when we welcome in the vast healing power of life.
When the truth is fully honored energetic cords are broken,
then heart can awaken.
Then, one is released to blossom forward into wholeness.
Today I honor my truth.
Today I make room for my wholeness to blossom.
Today I support others in being all of whom they really are.
